Bringing Food into a Starving Country

Haiti is experiencing deep unrest and political problems. Gangs took over the sea ports and cut off the ability to bring food and fuel into the country. Many people are slowly starving to death, especially in prisons.

Our director in Haiti is working with local contacts to bring food into the areas that are still accessible, as well as providing food to two prisons that have no means of feeding the inmates.
